The starting point

When the initiative began in 2023, Nicolás Gómez on LinkedIn already had something most people spend decades trying to build: a strong professional trajectory, experience with global brands, international business exposure, executive-level expertise, academic credibility and deep industry knowledge.

But digitally, almost none of that existed publicly. His account had no real content, no active narrative, no strategic positioning, no publishing consistency, no lead generation and no visibility. Like many high-level executives, his expertise lived almost entirely offline. The account existed. The influence did not.

The objective was not simply growing followers. The goal was far more strategic: transform Nicolás Gómez into a visible and respected voice in digital marketing, innovation, AI, business and future-focused strategy across the Spanish-speaking world.

The challenge required:

The strategy

The project began with a complete rebuilding of the ecosystem. We redesigned profile positioning, narrative structure, visual consistency, communication style, publishing cadence, content pillars, strategic topics and long-term authority positioning.

The content strategy focused on executive-level reflections, business storytelling, digital transformation, AI, entrepreneurship, marketing strategy, future trends, leadership and modern business culture. Most importantly, the content was built around Nicolás' real voice, opinions and professional objectives. The goal was not creating a content creator. The goal was building a credible industry leader.

Building the narrative engine

The system evolved into a multi-platform authority ecosystem. A daily LinkedIn publishing infrastructure was implemented combining strategy, editorial planning, automation, narrative sequencing and optimized engagement structures. The account evolved from inactivity into a constant source of high-value industry conversation.

In 2025, a newsletter initiative was launched starting from zero subscribers — today it surpasses 7,500 followers. In 2026, the ecosystem expanded into Substack, which now reaches more than 7,000 readers.

The growth

The results accelerated dramatically. Over the last year alone, the ecosystem generated more than 7 million impressions and Nicolás became one of the most relevant digital marketing voices in Colombia — positioned as #2 most relevant voice in Digital Marketing in Colombia and #7 among Spanish-speaking countries globally.

The initiative transformed visibility into measurable authority.

Business impact

The personal brand initiative generated far more than engagement metrics. It became a direct business growth engine. Commercially, the ecosystem produced more than 30 new high-impact clients, major business opportunities for his company, inbound opportunities through authority positioning, stronger enterprise credibility and expanded international exposure.

Professionally, the visibility generated invitations to more than 20 conferences and events, academic opportunities across Spain, Colombia and Mexico, professor positions in 3 universities, article collaborations with relevant LATAM publications and participation in some of the most relevant conversations in the industry. The personal brand stopped being a side asset. It became strategic infrastructure.
